My United States homecoming!! 〜Peter一家アメリカに帰るの巻〜

When we arrived in the U.S. at 8 am, Emily (my wife) and I had to say goodbye to each other because she had work to do in Washington state and I had to take our son back to Pennsylvania with me.  It was very sad but there was no way around it.  Jack (my son) and I finally made it to Pennsylvania at 1130 pm that night.  It was such a long day!  I have been spending my first week back in the U.S. trying to get Jack to sleep at the right times, it seems he likes Japan's timezone better!

Since being back I have also traveled to West Virginia and rented a house for my family to live in.  We are planning on moving down there as soon as my wife finishes her work in Washington.  The house is pretty nice and fairly cheap.  There is even a little park nearby where I can take Jack when he gets a little older.

I've been in the U.S. for ten days now and Emily is still in Washington for Navy business.  The long story short is that the Navy screwed up her paperwork and they continue to keep screwing it up.  We are hoping that she will get to Pennsylvania by August 10th.  She is starting school on the 17th and we need time to move down to West Virginia and get used to the area.  I'll keep you all posted on how it works out.

We finally arrived In West Virginia and are living in our new home.  Compared to our Japanese apartment we are getting a great deal.  The house is just about 1000 square feet and is only costing us $650 a month.  The only bad thing is that all of our furniture and most of our belongings are still being shipped to us from Japan!  We hope to get them in late September!  I'm very happy to have my family all together again and that my wife will make it to school on time!

People in the United States have been obsessed with the cell phone app Pokemon Go for a few months now.  I have to admit that I am guilty of walking around starring at my screen.  There have been many reports of people getting hurt because they were not paying attention to their surroundings.  The game is very addicting so I think I will continue to search for Pokemon for awhile but i'll try to be a little more careful of where I'm going so I don't fall in a lake or anything like that.

This past weekend we took a trip to Philadelphia Pennsylvania so here are some bonus pictures of the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and a cool mural.
